The Hickford Construction MG Metro Cup
The championship has previously been sponsored for over 25 years by Drayton Manor theme park and we thank them for the long association and support of the championship.
The championship has celebrated its 30th year of running in 2022 and is still going strong. Our chairman is David Javes who has been racing in the championship since 1994, sharing the orange 96 metro alternatively with Dick Trevett. He is the heart of the championship and has been voted that by the drivers in the championship in 2022. The co-ordinator of our championship is Emma Cross who is the daughter of David Javes, she is the one who keeps all the drivers organised and arranges all the meetings for the seasons. The registrar for the championship is Kim Javes and she is the daughter of David Javes as well. This is definitely a family orientated championship where everyone will help one another to ensure everyone gets on track and has a good weekend!
We are now sponsored by Hickford Construction Ltd for the last 3 years. We are extremely grateful for everything they have given to our championship over the years.
