Cadwell Park Summary

We have just had our penultimate race weekend of the season at Cadwell park last week. It was a fantastic 2 days for all drivers involved, many setting track bests. Including Jack Ashton who set a track lap record and won both races. Right behind him was Mike Williams and Robbie Kenning who had extra competition when a deer joined him at the start/finish line mid race. Unfortunately in 3 drivers Dnf’d race 1 but were all back out and finished race 2 on Sunday. Throughout both races it was close in the midfield between position 6 to position 10 there was only 15 seconds between the drivers.

This weekend was important for the club as on Saturday we held a BBQ and live music fundraiser for the getaway club in memory of Mike Williams’ late wife Nicola Williams. There was an amazing turnout from the club , marshals and the track doctor who joined in the live music with his bongos. Thank you to everyone who joined and donated as we were able to exceed our fundraising goals.
